Strengthening Medicare – new DPA & MM2 locations

We’ve seen a significant change in locations’ eligibility to welcome GPs to their practices.

Under these changes, we can now offer opportunities to Substantially Comparable GPs, including Expedited Pathway UK, Irish and NZ GPs in these areas now designated Distribution Priority Area (DPA) status.

• ACT:     Molonglo
• NSW:   Campbelltown
• QLD:    Maroochy, Noosa, Palmwoods, Surfers Paradise, The Gap
• SA:       Mount Barker
• WA:      Armadale, Byford, Cockburn, Gosnells, Joondalup, Kalamunda, Mundaring – Swan View, Swan, Wanneroo – Quinns Rocks

Also, for those doctors with Partially Comparable qualifications on the RACGP PEP Specialist Pathway, they can now work in the following new MM2

• NSW:   Mulgoa, Murwillumbah, Sutton, Wallacia, Wallalong
• QLD:    Jacobs Well
• VIC:      Hopetoun Park
